St Wilfrid's is so easy to get to - 5 mins walk from main train station, 10 minute walk from main bus station, straight off Fishergate, Preston's main shopping street

  During the coming year, we will be celebrating, living and sharing God‘s word with various Scripture initiatives so look out for more to come! It is an opportunity to enrich our current practice and to develop and explore new ways of responding to ‘The God Who Speaks’.

Br John is a Fransiscan Friar involved with the THOMAS Project, working alongside those on the margins of society. He has also been instrumental in supporting the formation of the Metanoia Project

Hebrews 1: 'In our time God has spoken to us through His Son'
Fr. Eamonn Mulcahy is a Spiritan or Holy Ghost Father Missionary originally from Manchester. He has extensive missionary experience, spending several years lecturing in Systematic Theology at Tangaza University College, Nairobi, Kenya whilst also being heavily involved in education projects in the infamous slum of Kibera.

Liturgy: God speaks through the Advent and Christmas liturgies
Maria Hall has a Masters Degree in Theology specialising in Liturgy and is currently Director of Music at St Wilfrid's Church, Preston. Following many years as a teacher, she is now a consultant in Pastoral Liturgy, Music and RE
