St Wilfrid's is so easy to get to - 5 mins walk from main train station, 10 minute walk from main bus station, straight off Fishergate, Preston's main shopping street

  During the coming year, we will be celebrating, living and sharing God‘s word with various Scripture initiatives so look out for more to come! It is an opportunity to enrich our current practice and to develop and explore new ways of responding to ‘The God Who Speaks’.

Fr Mark Harold
Fr Mark is a priest of the Diocese of Salford who is currently Director of Junior Clergy and Rural Dean whilst also Parish Priest of St Mary’s Bamber Bridge and St Gerard’s, Lostock Hall. For eight years previous to this he was Vice Rector of the English College in Rome helping to prepare students for the priesthood.

Fr Richard Sloan
Fr Richard is a priest of the Liverpool Archdiocese, with pastoral experience in both the UK and the Bolivian Andes. He is trained as an Integrative Psychosynthesis practitioner and counselling supervisor and, after many years of practice, he is now principally engaged in the accompaniment of priests and Religious as well as offering spiritual accompaniment, retreat, counselling and supervision.

Sr Margaret Atkins OSA

Sr Margaret is a Canoness of St Augustine in the community at Boarbank Hall in Cumbria. She was a Senior Lecturer in Theology at Trinity and All Saints College, Leeds. She has particular interests in virtue ethics, in the ethics of healthcare and of the environment, and in St Augustine

Joseph White
Joe is joint founder and Director of Metanoia Project, a Catholic Charity for the New Evangelisation, proclaiming the Word and serving the poor in Preston and beyond. Within the last 20 years of ministry, he has demonstrated his gift for helping others to understand the Scriptures by proclaiming the Gospel in schools, parishes, prisons, youth groups and even on the hills and streets!
